Patrick is a founding member and Head of Multi-Asset strategies at ALUWANI Capital partners (Pty)Ltd. Patrick is trained as an accountant but a practicing investment professional with more than 20 years’ financial services industry experience, the last decade in asset management managing pension and institutional client’s investments. He is a multi-asset portfolio manager whose skill set is in understanding the broader macroeconomic dynamics of financial markets, business models and financial asset valuations.

He was appointed independent non-executive director at the Land Bank of South Africa March 2008 to September 2015, where he served as Risk Chairperson 2010-2012 and Audit Committee Chairperson 2013-2015. His achievements include creating an investment process that placed the ALUWANI Domestic Equity fund as one of the best performing in South Africa as rated by Morningstar for 2017.
